If you are only a beginner or even an old salt, we would like to hear from you.

We are a small club with a wide range of interests so whatever your choice of model boating, please get in contact.

The Magnetic Model Boat Club was originally formed in 1975 and caters for most activities in model boating. Interest covered includes radio-controlled boat racing and scale model ships/boats with all types of propulsion.

At present the Club has an enthusiastic interest and participation in the scale boat scene with models including submarines, tugs, destroyers, fishing trawlers, paddle wheelers and yachts etc. Please do not be put off if your ideas do not seem to fit, or if you think your ability is not good enough. We all had to start somewhere. You will find there are other people who will share your interest and will provide help and advice if you ask.

The club meets monthly to conduct general business and talk about model boating.

On the second Sunday afternoon of each month the club members run their own models in the lake.

Our associations with other clubs and people may well assist your hobbying interests - you will never know if you do not call.
